-No update as of yet.
Last TRV applied/sent 27may 2017 on PAPER from Toronto. Received PP 10June 2017.
It seems PAPER APPLICATION takes 2 weeks transit back and forth and 1 week or less processing.It just arrives.no tracking no worries. You just send ALL DOCUMENTS and comes back completed. ONLINE process.times says 7 days but IT gets snagged by the nasty PASSPORT REQUEST.Unlike paper application, no delays because you send your passport right from the onset.

Hey mates,
Want to share my experience.
I went personally to canada visa Application centre on 28th dec 2017 and submit my file.
I got email for application received and tracking number on 29th dec 2017.
(Extra Add- 30 and 31st dec was Saturday and Sunday due to this visa office closed.)
I was continuously checking the tracking page nd tracking my application.
On 5th of jan 2018 my file was sent from canada visa office to canada visa Application centre.
On 6th i got and email that my visa is approved. I am going for may intake.

Hi Guys,

I am applying for my parents' tourist visa. My mother's passport has her thumb impression instead of a signature as she is illiterate.

Can you please advise what to do with the signature fields in the application. Is thumb impression allowed in forms? If not, what is the way out?

When you receive a PPR for online application and are asked to submit the passport. Does anyone know who stamps the visa and if they check the passport to match everything in the application which is why it takes time for them to process?

Hey guys, my visitor visa (applied online on 19-Nov) was refused with the reason "Purpose of Visit" not satisfactory. I'm planning to apply for the 2nd time now by providing further explanations.

Do you guys recommend a specific method of application? Should i do an online application again or should i do a paper application this time?

Any recommendations? (I'm really not sure if one method of application is better than the other).

I did my visitor visa application online and it got accepted.
They told me to send my passport today, but it doesnt tell me where.

but i can't find the address.
I believe it needs to be sent to Sao Paulo, as I am a Brazilian.

I got an email from the VAC Dusseldorf that my passport is under consideration but I didnt receive a tracking number. When I called the VAC today, they say there is no record in my name or DOB. Did anyone else have a similar experience?

I haven’t even received the email from them.
My documents were delivered on May 30th. May 31st was a holiday in Germany and I tried calling them, they had the same response.
Can anyone please help what should be the next step forward.

They are very slow in their work. You can try their other email id. I finally had to travel there to get an update on my application. Have you signed up for a SMS service? Otherwise they don't even notify you if there was a problem with your application. You can call the helplines and add this service.

1. If giving the biometrics is a walk-in event meaning no need for a prior appointment.

2. How long does the biometrics process take from arrival to leaving the VAC

3. Does it mean after the biometrics I have to return to the VAC again if my application is successful to submit my passport for stamping?
