my passport was delivered on OCT 30th and received tracking on OCT 31st.
Currently the tracking is showing : Your current application status is Passport Received by the Visa Office - Under Consideration
will update the status as soon as i receive something

You're lucky man. My passport was received on Oct 20th, and still no tracking. There does not seem to be any consistency in how they approach this.

That's because you sent your passport to Ottawa not one of the Visa Application Centers in NY/LA. You should follow Ottawa passport processing threads to get a better idea of timelines. I'd suggest calling IRCC they may be able to say if your passport has been received, sent to the printing room, approved, etc.

Oct 9th: Submitted Application for a Transit VISA
October 26th: Request for passport submission
October 30th: Passport sent and received on October 31st
November 1st : in Transit to Application Center and received by them

hey, i see the status of my family members application as counter folio where as mine is not updated yet. is this normal? i thought all applications would be updated at once
