the passport recieved on april 18th. and april 19th. still didnot go back? I thought i gonna try to go to nyc to ask them just return my passport then

I applied for TRV visa. I sent in my passport on April 19th, and I applied online

Hi!

I submitted my temporary tourist visa application online, with a submission confirmation dated April 20, and have not heard back. It is way past the processing time, what should I do? I have an appointment in Toronto next week, worried I will miss that one.

I have emailed several times, no avail
I have called the New York office, but asked to just email. The Los Angeles office cant be reached.

This is just so frustrating, and then when and if ever I do submit my Passport for visa printing, do you know how long it takes for the embassy to return it?

It takes at least 2 - 3 weeks once they receive your passports. So you may need to reschedule if your appointment is within 2 weeks.

Hi, if u read all the previous messages under this subject, you will notice that it takes approx a total of 40 days. It depends in which country you are. So if u have submitted your application on line on April 20 and if u are approved u probably wont get your passport until beginning of June. So its not past due.

And I still have not heard anything as of now. I am positive that there is nothing wrong with the envelop I provided.
It is express, unmeter one. I also put EAPP on the first line of the address.

I dont know what is wrong with them. It is so ridiculous when they take more than a week just to STAMP a Visa. My flight is this Saturday morning and I live in Atlanta. What should I do? Fly to LA to get my passport in person? Anyone in the same boat?

Oh I sent them a web form to request them to investigate my case and also sent them an email this morning. Anyone has any idea how long it will take them to respond?

Someone did go there and pick up their passport. According to others' experience, it normally takes around 10 days to finish stamping in LA. So I think your passport should be mailed around today (hopefully).

Approved Multiple Entry until November 2014 -My passport expiry date (Even though my wife work permit in Canada is valid only until September 2013).

Did you get an email from the LA office when they shipped your passport?

Also, what time did they send it back to you(~3pm? what time it shows as shipped by the consulate)? Just wanted to know when to check the USPS code. Thanks!

Overall horrible experience, website is terrible to navigate/ not user friendly at all. Cannot contact them with passport being held for 25 days just for stamping.

Not only did cic delay the passport request ( mine took 43 days!), but cpp Ottawa has not sent my passport back - it's been 2 weeks since I sent my passport.

I wish to share my experience for online work permit renewal and online TRV in Canada. I am staying Toronto and started my application process in March 2013

Work Permit Application Submitted : 2nd March 2013
Work Permit Received : 15th April 2013
Online TRV application Submitted : 17th April 2013
Passport Request Received : 3rd May 2013
Passport sent via xpress post : 3 rd May 2013 (Friday)
Passport Delivered to Ottawa CPP : 6th May 2013
Passport Delivered back to me With TRV: 8th May 2013

I am very much satisfied with the online TRV process, it is very simple and convenient. Please make sure you have submitted all the required documents in time to avoid any delay. Also use Canada post xpress envelopes for sending the passport which make life easier.

Hello friends, I am new here. I am from Pakistan I applied for TRV online on 18-May-2013. I applied to spend my honeymoon in Canada. Can someone tell me when I will get heard from them ? Also can you please tell me how many chances are there to get approved for TRV from Pakistan for honeymoon ?
