Approved Online Visitor Visa: Passport Return Times

Hi there, I applied from London UK and got my passport request on 12 August. I sent it off on 13 August and my online application status changed to approved yesterday morning, 16 August.

I wanted to know how long I should wait before my passport is returned? I will need to take time off work to be home to collect it, so it would be helpful to get an idea. Thanks all!

Edit: my passport is on its way, so should teach tomorrow. Please ignore my query above!

Hi,
Applied TRV online 24th July
Avg processing time 8 days
I called today to confirm (9th Aug) why i haven't received anything yet.
The CIC agent checked my file and contacted the department. They said they have sent my application for some verification and i should hear within 8 weeks . .. no additional document is required and there is no issie with my application.

I am extremely worried. My tickets are booked for 21st Aug.

Is it possible for me to get the approval letter and get the stamp from my home country. Any idea is appreciated.

Just wanted to update guys.. I ended up postponing my travel costed me a fortune to change tickets for the family.

Guys i didn't receive any email yet even some forum guys received email updates but inside nothing but in my case i didn't receive any...i applied on 20th june.
Is there anyone who receive approval email without 2-3 update status emails?

My parents submitted their passport on Sep 2nd. we got an email stating that your passport has been dispatched via blue dart courier. But how can i get tracking number to track status of the passport. Please

This gives your Airway Bill Number.

This is all i see when i track it in above mentioned site

Which VFS you have given your passport ?

It happens like this :

Local VFS --> NDVO --> VFS --> Applicant

now your passport is travelling from NDVO to VFS.

Once VFS Sends the passport to the applicant, then the Airway Bill number (Bluedart # number) will be updated.

Just one more day
