Hi!

So I already have my new open work permit, but didn't applied for the new TRV 'till now. I'll probably get the approval before the end of the week, and then they will ask me to send the passport to Ottawa.

Problem is, I'm traveling in two weeks to the US, and by timelines I'm seeing there's no way I'll get my passport back before that.

So my question is, can I travel to the US, and on my way back show my approval letter of the TRV and get it stamp at the border? (If you can do that for a work permit, don't see a reason why you couldn't for this).

I wouldn't be applying for a new TRV, I would have the approval already, just missing the stamp. Please let me know, thanks!!

my friend it is better to call CIC and ask them this question, they will give you the exact informations

Do you know how to call them? I mean, when you call the number you could spend hours and I never get to talk with an agent
