Hi,
We just got the email/letter that my spouse's application is approved in principle and that he has met eligibility requirements for PR but they still need to continue with the background check, medical test etc.
We've already sent in the RCMP check (still in progress) and medical (he passed).
So what does approved in principle mean? Like, if the RCMP check and medical are fine then he's been approved and he'll get PR?
