It looks like people from other countries are already getting AIP approvals. I saw one post of a guy from Bangladesh who applied on 2-3rd week of June and got AIP on July 31st. Looks like backlog in India is huge.

Bangladesh applications falls under Singapore which is working in limited capacity, so that's why it makes sense that they are getting some kind of updates. On the other hand, All Canadian offices in India are closed for the past few months. New Delhi might be working on few cases, like medicals or biometrics (like office staff, not the Case Processing Officers themselves), that is the reason there are no considerable updates from Indian students.
These office closures most likely will change in upcoming two weeks (it has to if they want students to enrol themselves in Fall session with AIP).
Our file from Nepal is processed in new Delhi and feb- March applicant have started getting their update.

That's is great to hear. I am hoping they (New Delhi and other offices) will ramp up processing application during August.
