appointment at visa office

Hi All,

I finally got my Copr yesterday. YAY!
I am now thinking that it'd be easier to go to a visa office in Canada rather than going to the border. So question: Does anyone know how long you have to wait for an appointment? And what to expect?

Depends on how many people has been waiting in the line? We can't expected. One of my friend just took 10 days for got COPR stamped after made an appointment at IRCC' office in Alberta.

Thanks! I just called and the agent was super nice (for change, I usually get rude ones). He said they would send an email to the Calgary office and that the office will contact me in approx 3 weeks.

I am in Edmonton and it tool them about 3 weeks to call me back to give me an appointment, which was another 3 to 4 weeks after! I'm landing next week, can't wait to have everything done...
