Hello Guys,

Great job on this forum. There is so much information out here.
I have currently become eligible for applying for CEC as I have worked for 6 months in Vancouver and
7 months in Montreal. I am preparing my application and I have a new job offer from Vancouver.
As things are now I am on my job contract in Montreal till August and I am on Vacation for a month and then
I move to Vancouver by end of October. My question if my application is ready by August should I apply from here
or should I wait till I get to Vancouver and get a place there so that when I apply I have a Vancouver residence address ?
Reason why I was in a hurry to apply was that I was worried that I might get closer to the cap the later I apply.

Thanks.

Yes you can apply from Montreal and move to Vancouver, make sure to update CIC on your address/job change once you move.
But if you are going to stay longer in Quebec when your application is being Assessed by a VO after AOR, CIC will ask you to show proofs for your intention to move out of QC after getting PR.

Good Luck!
