Applying tomoro for sept intake

Guys got rejected under spp, going to apply in general for sept intake.
Will i get reply on time, my college starts from 2nd sept.

Worth mentioning on your SOP that you have travel booked in and will reach Canada before classes start... Also check with your college if they can give you any extension on the enrolment.... attach these copies to make your case stronger...

I applied on 7th July, received status change that passport has been dispatched on 7th of Aug, on 8th of Aug received confirmation email of visa approval.
Wait 1-2 days for visa to reach here before collecting. Total time 34 days.

On the letter it says I have to enter Canada by 31st Aug or it will become invalid.

I applied via Paper based, general from Kolkata.


If your are applying via online it could be faster, make sure your medicals already done, + add on time for sending passport when they request and return time.
Hopefully its not too long. For general I've noticed it takes 10-15 working days online on average on this forum. Some less or more.

11+ 15 days = 26th August. Be prepared to arrange your exit from India real quick. Things look super tight even if they agree to process your visa.

I know they have a virtual deadline of 31st July for September intake but go ahead, maybe they process.

my college start from 2nd sept but the offer letter expiry date is 5th sept.
So even i get reply by 27th or 28th i have time.

Offer letter date is for college final registration once there or web reg.

More important is 31st Aug deadline for entering Canada. If you get your passport in hand by 28th you should leave by 30th early morning latest.

Buy a refundable ticket from now.

Once they request your passport, start packing your bags. That usually means you are getting the visa unless there are issues with your passport on the pages of past visits.
Misinformation etc.

As soon as it is in your hands. Prepare a rapid exit.

who said 31st is the deadline for entering canada?? sorry bro please don't spread wrong info..when you receive the visa it is clearly mentioned on it that you get it for 2 years and you can enter any time within that period and yes if you cant reach before your college commences then you can differ your intake..

yes just make sure you are there atleast by 3rd so that you can move around check your campus register yourself etc..

Yup there is no limit for the entry to Canada as long as it is within study permit duration.
