Applying to study with spouse in the same school

My husband ve being studying in studing in canada for a master degree for about a year now, while i was back at home working, i applied for a visiting visa to visit him but i was refused based on the fact that my job is a contract job with an oil company, i just gained admission to study in the same school with him, what are my chances that i would get a study permit visa?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you can show proper financial support and country tie. Your situation is very common among many couples so there's no need to be worried as long as your intentions are purely for education (at the moment).
