Applying to Extend Study Permit While In Canada - IMM 1017B required document?

Hey,

So I'm in the process of applying to extend my study permit to continue Flight Training in Alberta.

The online application states that one of the documents required is 'An Upfront Medical Exam' - IMM 1017B, I've never had to submit this before and the Government website states that i only need to submit this Form if I work/study in the public health sector.

If anyone could give me extra conformation that would be fantastic as I don't want my application to be returned due to a missing form.

I thought IMM 1017B is only for Permanent Residency applications...

Check your questionaire answer again. There’s a question that asks if you have been to a designed destination for more than 6 months (aka if you have been living OUTSIDE of canada more than 6 months). It’s supposed to be NO if you’ve been living in canada the whole time, then you won’t have to provide medical form.

Thanks, I edited the Questionnaire and now I no longer need to submit the form .

Hello, I applied for Express Entry and still I am waiting for an invitation for almost 6 months. I have an open work permit that will expire in 5 months. I can not extend it because I have it for 3 years. Anyone know how I can stay in Canada and continue working?
