Applying to Express Entry from within Canada

Hi folks,

I am currently in Canada, with a work permit that is bound to a company here in Toronto, for 3 years. Couple of questions:

1. Can I apply for PR through Express Entry from within Canada?
2. I have a multiple-entry work visa (W-1) - can I leave and re-enter Canada after I apply for PR?
3. Would you recommend going through the process with a lawyer or by myself?

3. Do it yourself. Lawyer is required only if you have complications like criminal convictions, entry refusal in another country etc

Thanks for the response, @canada_soft and @ajithj - regarding (2), when it comes to re-entry, are there cases when people got rejected because of a pending PR? Are there any restrictions on re-entry (e.g. you can leave, but not be out of Canada for more than X number of days)?

No issues for re-entry.
