Applying Study Permit WITHOUT Birth Certificate

Hi folks,

I recently got accepted into Canadian University and I planning to applying for study permit. I don't have birth certificate, but my PASSPORT clearly states date of birth and place. Can I still apply without Birth Certificate? Is it going to be risky?

Experts please guide me in this regard.

You will need birth certificate if and only if you are applying in Quebec
