Hi People,

Can anyone please advise me in the right direction regarding applying for the student visa.

Details
======
1) Applicant 38 years- Social work Diploma 2 years
2) Spouse 38 years
3) Child 7 years

I need advise regarding applying for visa for all 3 of us together. Please advise on options I have got.

You will apply student visa for yourself.
For your spouse you can apply open work permit
For your child if above 5 year then you need to apply study permit also (request officer in your SOP that to issue your child a study permit with a notation to enroll in any canadian public school) thats it .

Thanks for answering my query. The main thing was whether we have an option move with family together even though we are going on the study visa.

Yes you can. Don't worry. But must explain everything in your SOP. Regardless it will fit in 2 pages or 30 pages. Write all details with headings. I have posted on this forum before a guidline what to include step by step in SOP. Please browse my posts you will find it

My son is 5.8 years old and instead of study visa I applied visitor visa for him.Will it affect him to enroll in any Canadian school there?
