My son has been accepted to a Canadian high school. We are now going to apply a student visa for him. As his mother, I would like to accompany him on the first trip to Canada. He is going to be in homestay and I only like to help him settle and then come back to our home country after few weeks. So I need to apply for tourist visa.
Now, the question is:
on CIC website, should I create an account for my son and apply for his student visa and then add myself to his application as a family member applying for a Visit visa? Or should I apply for a visit visa and add him as a family member to my application? or should I create two separate applications for each of us?
