Hello everyone, need your kind suggestion. I have filed PR (in Canada Class) for my new born child who was born in India. As per the timelines it may take upto 6-10 months. But I want to get my family together as early as possible. Myself, my wife and daughter are already PR of Canada.

What are my options to bring my new born kid as well to Canada. I read other forums and people are suggesting TRP or TRV visa, I'm not sure what visa category it is? Please suggest how to proceed further.

There is no "in Canada" class when sponsoring a dependent child. The app is outland.

You need to apply for a TRV. If that is refused, you can try for a TRP.

Processing times vary widely. Anywhere from a few days to several months. Approval unfortunately isn't guaranteed.

Hi,

Me and my wife got PR in 2018 and lived for5 months and moved back to india due to some personal commitments. Now our baby born in India and I am moving back for now as I got a job in Canada. Can my wife be a co-signer if she is not moving now? She'll come once our baby TRV will be approved. Secondly, we still have 2 years of time to satiate RO criteria. Do I need to complete 730 days in Canada before applying TRV for my baby or Can I apply It post landing?
