Applying online: scanned documents

Hi guys

You know how stressing the application process is, so forgive me if this is a simple question:

I am eligible to apply online, so when applying online do I only need scanned copied of all required documents at the time of submission? The reason I ask is my brother is sending me a document from back home (police certificate) and it will take at least 40 days to get here. If only a scan is required then he can just scan it and send it to me to upload and submit then it doesn't matter when I receive it.

You only require a scanned image of the PCC. Just ask your brother to make sure the scanned file size is less than 4 MB but it must be of good resolution (300 DPI works best). Out of curiosity, which postal mail system in the world takes 40 days to deliver to Canada? This is very interesting.
