Applying late but better than sorry ! few questions please help

Hello, I was to apply but some family conditions happened to me and could not proceed so I have few questions :'

1- I got 2.7 years of experience in NOC 1113 which looks unfilled till now and 1.3 Years of experience in NOC 1112 summing up both to 4 years, so if applied under NOC 1113 how many years of experience will be counted ?

3-My previous employer merged with another, so is it safe to have the letter of experience signed by an ex colleague as some people mentioned ?

2-I took the IELTS with the required score and have sufficient funds and I ll start WES process and expect it all to finish within one month I guess from previous people experience, ll fill everything and send it to CIC by 15-30 January 2015 (I am based in KSA), so do I have a chance to be selected with the FSW or forget about it and apply for Express Entry ?

Consider applying under EE.

FSW ends on Dec 31, 2014. Your only option is EE.

FSW is ending on 31st Dec'14. If you wish to apply under same, you have maximum 2 days left (courier will take 5-6 days to reach) which as per your documents does not seem possible therefore consider EE.

Please visit CIC website for timelines on FSW ending.

There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. In my opinion, you will tick 2-3 years column

It is advisable to take reference letter from someone who is CURRENTLY working with the company. Merger, name change of company is not an issue. You can always mention that. In my work ex, there was a name change scenario of a company which was simple handled by mentioning - 'formerly know as.....'

I believe the sentence " These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015." means that they are referring to FSW program in general but they will continue till April 30, and there will be overlapping as I read from previous thread, i am not sure, its very confusing

No - that's not what that means. The 2014 program is ending on December 31st 2014. You will be wasting your time sending your application in January. You can only apply under EE.

It's not confusing at all. Your application MUST reach CIC by December 31st of this year if you want to apply under the 2014 rules.
