Applying in UAE, do they keep original passport?

hi im in process of applying visa from UAE. I would like to know if I apply online, will they keep my original passport while the application is in process for months!!!

They will ask you to send your original passport if Your application approve for visa other wise They will send refusal letter.

don't apply throught the embassy it will take much time , normally 8 to 10 weeks . apply through either vac or online as it takes less time .

can u tell the best time to apply for the fall session and also how long the bank statement would have to be for no financial objection from visa officer.

can i show statement from pakistan?

I don't know about the time but apply sooner than September because it takes time to process, the bank statement should be 6 months old that's what i showed and i don't know whether you can show from pakistan or not! You should ask them its better
