Anyone from Mumbai, where can we get notarized for less price ?

so, far where ever i asked it was 200 rs. per document..the cheapest, after a much bargain was 100 rs. per docuemnt, considering i have nearly 20+ to get notarized..

when i goto the advocate, they say..notary is expensive, n for certificates attestation is enough

Sooo much ! It is quite cheap at Bangalore. Instead of going to an advocate's office, try going to a court itself where you will find many advocates and they do it at a very low price. Don't know about Mumbai but that is what happens at Bangalore.

Right. That is what everyone does. Notary attestation for photocopies @ Rs 15/copy (take the originals with you to show, else they will charge exorbitantly) and notary stamp for foreign documents like LOA from college/univ, for which they charge anywhere from Rs 200-500. I don't if we need to notarize LOA when it is emailed, but still I did.

For LOA, attestation is not required..attestation is only for duplicate copies.Since university send the LOA through e-mail, thats the original one..

The notarized transcript copies do not have that red stamp !That is very expensive. It is enough if they are just attested. Sometimes, they also put a seal that tells "verified with the originals" .. Reg LOA, I told that it is not needed, but the notary insisted on putting the red stamp...and charged Rs 200 after some argument.
