My fiancé is a Pakistani national, but her mother is Sri Lankan, her mother is sponsoring her education so all financial and property documents are Sri Lankan, she has secured admission in a DLI for 01 year PGD and has prepared all necessary documents, the processing time from her home country (Pakistan) is 25-30 weeks whereas from Srilanka is 2-3 weeks , she is applying non-sds /regular stream , where should she apply from ?

If anyone has gone through such situation kindly let me know please

Where does she live now. That is where you file from. So if she is living in Pakistan it is filed there.
Currently she is in Pakistan but she is going to visit her family in Srilanka in two weeks time

Do you think she should apply from there given that the processing time there is only two weeks

Is she going to be living there during processing. It most likely will not take two weeks and could take much longer. She can try. How old is she to have a mother sponsoring her studies?

Hopefully she has her own funds and not just her mother’s. Also her program needs to show career advancement in her country of residence so if she is applying from Sri Lanka, then job opportunities there and in Pakistan. Officers will wonder why she is applying from Sri Lanka and not Pakistan if she is only visiting.

She has her own funds too. Her first semester fees is submitted too. Yes, officers can wonder that but she goes to Srilanka every year during this time to meet her family. She has a valid reason by then
