Hi Everyone,
I have a question.
I arrived in Canada in 2021 on Student Visa.
I conclude my studies in Sept. 2022 and accordingly, the Study Visa expired. I applied for PGWP which was approved and issued in Feb. 2023, and I have been working based on the approved PGWP which is still valid till sometime in 2024.
However, as I am about to make my travel arrangement for my holiday in December 2023, I realized that I only have a valid PGWP, but no Visa, and the implication is that I may not be able to return to Canada if I leave as a VISA is required to enter Canada.
I am about to apply for a Visit Visa inside Canada to enable me exit and re-enter Canada. My question is

I am about to apply for a Visit Visa inside Canada to enable me exit and re-enter Canada. My question is
- Would this be the right process?
- Would it be considered late to apply for the Visit Visa at this time since the Study Visa expired in Sept. 2022. Even though I have since applied and gotten approved PGWP, which is still valid?
- Is this something i could do on my own or should I consult an Immigration Expert
