Hi!

I do understand this question has been asked many times before but since I will be applying for VISA with conditional offer letter, I just wanted to know how good are my chances.

I have (conditional) offer of admission from Concordia University for M.E in Software Engg. and have confirmed my admission. The offer letter has following 2 conditions:
1. Your acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of your Master's degree at Guru
Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, maintaining or exceeding your current overall
average, prior to the commencement of your new program at Concordia.
2. A complete, final official transcript showing successful completion of all courses attended, and
the awarding of the Master's degree.

Though I satisfy both the aforementioned conditions, however the problem is I won't be able to produce final official transcript. I have talked the (current) university and they said they'll not be able to issue final transcript before declaration of result (which is last week of July, 2014). So there is no way for me to get an unconditional offer of admission from Concordia before that and thus no way to reproduce the same to visa officer.

However, I will have the confidential result for final semester along with the provisional degree. My question is would it be satisfactory for the visa officer to have the reference of this confidential result and provisional degree? Or the requirement for unconditional offer letter is exacting?

Another question, will the Concordia University issue an unconditional offer letter based on these 2 documents (confidential result and provisional degree)?

Any help will be appreciated :) And thanks for your time!

I will advise u sent the 2 docs to the university in canada for unconditional acceptance. Let them give their decision as a prelude to determinining what may likely be the VO decision. Try to chat up ur advisor why transcript will not be available by now as u wish to meet the sep intake. Give that a trial first.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
One of my friend got made a provisional degree certificate from the college and he got his unconditional offer just after a week time after he sent that provisional degree certificate to the university.
Its university of winnipeg.
I dont know about concordia university. U just ask them by sending them an email and explain your situation to them..they might get it converted to unconditional.
And I dont suggest you to apply for visa with an conditional offer.
Hope it helps .

I have written to my supervisor explaining the situation but to be on the safe side, I need to know would I still be able to make it for Sept, 2014 intake or I need to defer my admission to Jan session (if that's possible too).

U can apply with this condition..u will surely get visa.
If u want unconditional ,sent them official provisional in your college sealed envelope and put your college address as sender address. After sending this, contact them on phone after 1 week.Call registrar office and tell them to transfer your call to academic advisor or department of your program..Then tell them u need it urgently they will send to you unconditional on same day throygh email and within 2-3days through post. Calling them directly will speed up your process.

I have written to my supervisor explaining this situation, yet to receive a response from her. It would certainly ease out some tension if Concordia Univ. does accept this :)

patience has its virtues.

You risk not only a rejection but time and money too. A sincere advice wait, get your documents in order and than apply.
Remember when we were young and would force are parents to buy anything that fascinated us and we were confronted with patience lecture. And this age you realise the importance of that lecture. Patience my friend patience, January intake , would be the best time for you. On the plus side airflight fares should be substantially be cheaper :). Its hovering in 70k and above now for a decent flight :I
