I had applied for a visa on August 5. Was refused after 16 days on August 21. I actually missed some of the important documents(Tax Assessments, IELTS). It took some time for me to collect the financial documents. Now can I apply again considering my term has already started on August 30? I want to continue my classes in between this time. But I can still defer to the next term before the 15th of September.

I know someone who got refusal on 25th august and again applied on 29th august and got aip on 4th September. As you mention you have time till 15th September to defer than you can apply again but before that i sugguest you to take advice from your consultant. I am just giving you an example of a person who was in same situation. So think before you take any decisions.
Its a relief. I really want to apply again. But the individual you know applied before the term started. I don't know if I can apply after the term has started. (N.B: According to my offer letter, my term started on Aug 30). As in the IMM1294 form, there is a place where I have to put the expected period of studies. I can't put a date before the present date there. So it crossed my mind if I am late to apply.
