No. They will be going back to Canada thus September 2016. They are here for a vacation only.

Ok. This is noted, Regina! If my travel history is not that good, what are other ways that I can convince the officer that I am coming back home here. I intend to stay for 15 days in Toronto.

Your job for the government and your short trip, and your travel to Asia- are good enough.
Just prepare bulletproof :) papers- detailed invitation with itinerary , yours and aunt's family income proof.

Actually, in that invitation your aunt should somehow explain why she invites you and not her sibling (you parent) . If it already happened some time in the past it should be mentioned too, and then an explanation why you are invited this time.

This is noted, Regina!

They are actually inviting family members every time they will visit here but in the case of my father he does not want long travels. As with me, I still had to establish my career here as a lawyer so it took a while before I started traveling. Hopefully, when I apply next year, I will get positive result. I just really want to see my cousins there and their families and see some places.

Thank you, Regina! Any mor suggestions are highly appreciated.

You could write a Letter of explanation to VO too. Explaining everything about invitations, you father not wanting to travel, your career. Just make it short , 1 page.

Yes, I intend to make a cover letter too. Just had no idea what to say or if I am overdoing things and if I am going to present enough documents Being here in the Forum is a big help.

Usually, the bank statements and payslips should show how many months?

6 months is the best. 3 will do too. And a letter from work (occupation, salary, since what time, and that they are aware about your vacation and will keep your job for you.

Hi, here's the answer to your questions over PM, re: proof of relationship and invitation letter:

I showed our birth certificates; since it is an aunt/uncle, I also showed my parent's.

Nothing special in the invitation letter that I sent, it went something like:

"I am inviting Khris to visit me in Canada from date to date, for a total of X. Khris will be staying with me in city. I will be providing for Khris's expenses..."

Follow these guidelines: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/letter.asp

Like I said, no need to notarize for applicants to Manila VO.

Hello everyone,

I've got a question.
I got married and my last name has changed. I have a valid tourist visa, I have already been to Canada 3 times. Since I'm going to need to change my passport, would I still be able to use my valid visa in my old passport. Where I'm from, they told me that they're only going to cancel my passport not the visa so I can still use my old passport only for the visa and the new passport together, but I don't know if that's the same for Canada. Because it would be really bad if they wouldn't accept it and send me all the way back.. :)
Of course I can prove documents for my legal name change, such as my ID which provides my last name before marriage, and my new last name, and our marriage certificate which says the same things.
Do you think I'll be able to get in if I carry all these?
Has anyone experienced something like this before?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, Bella! My concern though is that my father's immediate relative is my uncle. They are first cousins. We all have same last names. Will photos with my uncle and aunt while having vacation here suffice?

I don't know because that's not what I did. Although that portion isn't as relevant as your financial and employment status, you don't have to take it too seriously.
