Hello, Bella! Thank you again for the reply.

With regard to the itinerary, will I present a day-to-day itinerary? My cousins there will help me with that since they will be the one who will bring me to places

About on line application, I read on the website that payment of fees must be through on line as well via credit card. I do not own a credit card. I might pay through the bank. In that case, I should do the paper application?

Hello Jalex,

My aunt has long been retired from work. Both she and my uncle are just traveling here and there. I will include her passport and citizenship card with the invitation letter. What else may I ask from my aunt to provide to show to the officer?

I will take note of your advise regarding assets. As a government employee, we have a standard Leave Form, Accountability Clearance and Travel Authority. Are those good enough or should I ask our Head of the Office a Personal Letter address to the officer that I will be coming back on this particular date because we are handling tons of cases?

Thank you again.

Invitation letter, photo ID (issued by country of residence is preferred) and bank snapshot.

It might be redundant to ask for the extra document, but I would do it just to be sure.

What is a bank snapshot? Is it like Bank statements?

This is noted, Jalex! Thank you again.

In that case, you might as well do a paper application.

Go to the VFS Philippines website; bank payment is done through Union Bank.

For my bank submissions, I included a bank certificate from my bank and last 4 months of online statements.

Hello, Bella! Yes, I saw the Union Bank option.

Regarding the bank statements, do CIC check where the deposits are coming from? Because as a government employee, there are months that we receive bonuses on top of our monthly salary. So the inflow of amount of money on my account is not the same all the time.

Thank you.

I would expect CIC is familiar with these types of payments, so no need to worry about this. Best to also include payslips to corroborate this, but it's optional.

Hello, Regina! If the 1,000 CAD per week is too much, how much is in a way acceptable?

Thank you.

Usually $100 a day.

Also Let you aunt to write an itinerary for your stay in Toronto, like they will : take you to see other relatives, to go to Niagara Falls, to visit this and that.

Also, what is the history of you previous meetings& Have they recently came to visit you and your family in the Philippines? Then they could mention you were very good to them during thier visit and they would like to invite you to Canada in return.

Also, are you married? If yes, they should invite your wife and you. if you have children it should be explained why they stay at home.

Is that 100 CAD per day?

Regarding the itinerary, my cousins will help so I will just tell them to tell my aunt about the itinerary.

My aunt and my uncle are retired so they often visit us here in the Philippines. However, the first and last time I saw my cousins was in 1996 when they came here to attend a wedding. But I do have constant communication with them. They are the ones who have been inviting me to visit them in Toronto.

No. I am single and no kids. Anything else that I should take note in applying for a Tourist Visa? Regarding travel history, Canada will be the first visa country I will visit. I am not sure if that is a good sign.

Thank you, Regina!

Who invites you? Cousins or you aunt?

My aunt and my uncle are here now in the Philippines. They will be back to Canada in September. Since they are retired already, what can she provide as proof of income?

Both my Aunt and my Uncle invited me then I mentioned it to my cousins.

Yes, thought so too. My recent travels were in South East Asian countries.

Thank you, Regina!

Are they going to go back to Canada by 2017?

Retirees have pension income, or investment income. So they should show the source of their income. They fill Tax returns, right? Then they have Notice of assessments.
