Hello,
My study permit and co-op work permit extensions were recently approved. I am now starting the process to extend/renew my TRV as well.
The document checklist is asking for literally the same documents which I already uploaded for the study permit extension.
The three documents I am concerned about is the proof of funds, transcript, and proof of enrolment. These documents cost money and time to re-produce again. Especially the 4 months bank statements since I have to ask my parents to get them and notarize them. My university also takes so long to get the official transcript and proof of enrolment created. I had applied for the study permit extension before March 10th, and the dates on the documents were between February 25th - March 7th.
Am I good to just re-submit the same/old documents which I submitted for the study permit extension? Do they really care since all the information has already been verified just now (approved study permit extension yesterday, 28th April)? If I apply by the 1st of May, the documents would be around 2 months old
I guess I just don't understand why they would need the exact same set of documents twice. Why not just do the TRV extension at the same time? It is slowing down IRCC with more applications + creating a longer process for applicants as well
