Applying for TFW specific visa within canada on a visiting visa

Hello All,

Please I need advise on what to do....

I am based in canada on PR and I have applied for LMIA which came back positive to bring a a babysitter from overseas.

my choice candidate has recently applied for Canadian visiting visa and is still waiting approval. Though the LMIA is valid till March next year but I am wondering if the person can apply for the TFW visa upon arrival into canada on a visiting visa or it's better and safer to apply in their country of residence (Nigeria) once they receive their Visiting visa.

Please any guided insight will be helpful

No - they can't. This option is only available to those from visa exempt countries.
