Hi everyone, I sponsored my husband 3 years ago and we are still waiting for a decision to be made from London visa office. Can he apply for Temporary residence visa while he waits?? He is in Pakistan and I am in Canada... the problem is that I am unemployed with 3 year old daughter and 7 months pregnant so I am really stressed out..
His spousal application has been in London for 8 months , he has done both medicals, paid both fees and has given them all documents that were required of him. A lot of people have assured me that he will get passport request soon but I want him here for the birth of my baby .
Is it possible to apply for a trv?? Please help

He can certainly try applying for a TRV. But it's impossible for any of us to say if it will be approved.

Ok thanks, but will it interfere with the spousal application? And how can I make sure he does get approved? What does the embassy look for in a TRV applications?

No - it won't interfere with the PR application. There is nothing you can do to guarantee he will be approved. However to increase the chances of approval, your husband must show evidence that he has strong ties to his home country (e.g. permanent job, property, etc.).
