Hi everyone,
We have been following these forums for a while (very helpful!). We are wondering if anyone could help us with our issue.
My wife is a Canadian citizen currently living in the UK with me (a UK citizen).
We have applied for spousal sponsorship in August 2020 and have received no correspondence so far.
I have recently received an offer for university for a Co-op engineering degree starting September of this year.
We realise it's very unlikely to have our residency application approved by then.
Would it be an issue to start another application for a study permit whilst leaving my sponsorship application active?
Or would this cause applications to be refused?
Hopefully this would be approved in time for me to start university in September.
Any comments or suggestions are extremely welcome and we look forward to your replies.
