applying for study permit while my pr application is in process

Dear freinds
We have applied as federal skilled worker. FSW1 and our file tranferred from Damascus to Warsaw, start processing in 14 dec 2011. On the other hand my wife has been admitted for master degree in Montral. I want to know does applying for study permit affect our immigration file?
Please inform me in this matter.

Any answer here. We need your experience ... As per my knowledge, The student application doesn't affect the immigration application. but still we need the expert's opinion

I have a similar situation, and right now, my family and I are in Canada on student visa. Processing my file in Warsaw started January 2012, and we are still waiting for updates.
Any thoughts?
