I live in Abu Dhabi and applied for visa here as well. Medical was waived, I think because I live here in the UAE.

I got my visa today! Alhamdullilah! My study will start in August 2016. The officer is kind enough to give me visa validity from today onwards, it says there in the Letter of Introduction that I can NOW go to Canada. Either way, my plan is to go there in August.

After submit the application you directly received the passport request or in between they asked any document or clarification.

Business certifiacte in SaskPoly. I received passport request 7 weeks after submission. Do not forget to include your IELTS results, although its not required in some cases, they will ask for IELTS results and this may delay the processing. My medical was waived because I live in Abu Dhabi. No other document was requested.

I am still preparing my sop for now . Will apply next month's first week . Along with my co-op work permit application .

Yes, its 9 weeks now but still the status is under process. my classes will be started from 09 May 2016.
expecting a positive response soon, Inshallah.
