I'm going to apply for PRTD from Saudi Arabia next week.
I was thinking to apply from US as i'm going to visit my brother there in November, which is better? :)

I have a lot of Questions regarding application.

1. What should i mention in permanent address of Canada?? I don't have any. Can i mention my friend's address of Canada?? ( Part 1- Personal information - 12 )

2. What detail should we mention in ( Part 1- Personal information - 13 )

My PR expired in 2012, during my PR status I stayed in Canada only for 45 days.

3. What details i need to add there as i didn't spend more 45 days there ( Part 2- Personal information - 15 ).

4. Do i need to fill in "Statement of Consent"?

5. This is the most important in application "Humanitarian and compassionate Ground" ( Part 2- Personal information - 19 ) should i mention all the reasons of staying in Saudi arabia?

6.In "Document Checklist". What "Financial Documents" and "Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment forms" should i attach with it?

I was minor to when i left the canada. Now i'm 25 years old. Please someone guide me that which university letter should i attach with my application? What letter should i ask to my university ??

Please someone share their experiences with me might it ll help.

Thanks in Advance.

If you want to save your PR status, I would try entering Canada from the US using a land border crossing and your COPR rather than applying for H&C. If you are successful re-entering Canada then I would remain there without leaving for two years before attempting to renew your PR card.

An H&C application for a 25 year old is unlikely to be successful. You're too old.

But Rules has been change now. I can't cross the border with expired PR card and COPR. :( :( :(

Well, u r a Permanent Resident until the CBSA officer determines at the border that you havent met the reqts to maintain permanent residency. They may ask you how many days you have stayed and why you havent got a new card. It really depends. If during that questioning, you admit that you havent met the reqt of staying 2 out of 5 years, then, they will report you to the IRCC for not meeting the reqts to maintain your status and you will have 30 days to appeal. Most folks who do use the US route have met the 2 out of 5 years requirements and so if the officer asks, they do reply that they have met the reqts and continue to meet it and that the IRCC hasnt processed their new card or they didnt apply for one because they didnt really need one as they dont travel much.

Having said that, they may not ask you anything and they may just allow you in with your passport and COPR. Its really hard to say.
