I'm visiting Canada on visitor visa with my wife as she has got PR.

I'm wondering can I apply for PR while on visitor visa on behalf of spouse?

yes,you can apply for PR as your spouse is already a PR holder. Usually, its is better to apply for whole family at once in most cases.

Unless you have very strong ties to your home country the chances of refusal are pretty high.
