I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who has applied for PR through the QSW program from within Canada but outside of Quebec. I will outline my situation for clarification. I studied in Quebec for my undergrad and then subsequently moved to BC for my Masters degree, this degree had an internship component and upon graduation I was retained by the company I interned for and as a result, decided to stay. I always planned to go back to QC as I truly enjoyed my time there, As a result, I decided to apply for the CSQ and got it, now I'm at the PR application stage and still working in BC.
I had planned to quit my job and move earlier in 2020 but the covid situation made that not feasible (I have a contract which ends in January 2021). I am planning on applying from BC for the QSW and subsequently moving to QC after January, Is this a recommended course of action? I don't want to miss any time as PR through QC takes a while and my PGWP time is elapsing and since QSW applications take so long to process I figured that by the time I would contact them to change my address my application would probably not have even been opened. Has anyone applied for the QSW outside of Quebec and if so how did that process go? What are your recommendations and how should I proceed, I've been advised to write a letter explaining my situation. Thank you. I'm looking forward to your responses.
