Pre-Assessed..
hello everyone...I really need your answers guys. I'm way confused of the requirements for PR.

I have already completed my 24 months last March 30, 2011 but didn't submit my application yet..i'm still working with some of them.

Anyways, I am a bit confused on some areas concerning the required documents. It's about this so called Option C printout that we're gonna get from CRA. My friend said I have to wait for my refund from the revenue before I could obtain such document. Is it true? She added that this document will depend on my tax assessment so I need to wait for it. How about those who applied for the months of Jan and Feb, these months aren't the period of filing taxes right? So how did they get such document?

Pls. give me your answers especially those who have already submitted their papers. Thank u so much!!

I sent my application in Jan 2011. I called CRA and only got my Option C printout for 2009 at that time.Everything seemed fine and they started my case on Mar 1,2011. So I think you don't need to wait. Go ahead and get what you can get at this time and send your application in time. This is no point to waste any time for waiting after you have finished 24 months.

I completed my 2 years in Feb 2011. I called CIC. I was told I don't need to wait for my tax return. so I submit my application with Option C (2008 & 2009) in March 2011. they started processing in April 2011.

thank u so much....your answers are very much appreciated!!

Do they (referring to CRA) have questions when you request the Option C? I'm planning to call tomorrow but I don't have any document in hand. I left everything at my sister's house.

How many days will it take before they would give you the document? Are they giving it by mail?

Again, as a new applicant I really need your guidance!! Thank u so much....God bless..

Yup they will ask for some personal infos to validate you. Be ready with your SIN too. It takes about 2 weeks to get in the mail.

CRA will ask your date of birth, mailing address, name of your current employer and most of all your SIN so be ready..
