Applying for police certificate in Italy

Hello,

my wife needs to apply for a police certificate in Italy. She's been studying there but we don't have really clear idea about the procedures... Does she need to apply in the city she's been living (given that she's currently spending some time in another city, just wondering whether the application can be made from there or in the city she's been living for the study period).

Also, during her studies she was holding her maiden surname. Now that we're married she has my surname... how can this be solved to the authorities that will release the certificate?

Hi, yes we received it. She had to go there herself and apply for it.
