Hello, I recently received a new passport because mine was about to expire. I'm in the process of applying for a post-grad work permit and I'm looking for advice on this. I spent sometime googling this but I could not find a concrete answer.
Since my current student permit is associated with my previous passport. How does this affect my application? I scanned a copy of my student permit (still valid until July 31) and the front page of my new passport, which currently lacks any stamps or any permits as I have not travelled outside of the country. I entered Canada with my previous passport last year.
Does the CIC know I still have a valid permit when I apply?
