Applying for permanent residency and seized passport - protected refugee

Hello ,

I'm a protected refugee which received my acceptance 7 months ago. IRCC seized my passport when applied for refugee claimant and now I'm applying for permanent residency , on forms it's asking if I have valid passport or not.
1. Should I answer yes, I have valid one and include all info? (have certified copy)
2. When I will get back my home country passport? after getting PR card?

2. Why do you need it? you are Protected Person...

1. If I don't have that passport so how come it is valid?
2. Because IRCC gave back the passport to other people when they get their PR card!

1. It is still valid, whether in your possession or ceased provided it is valid. In your case, just tick yes and fill ppt details
2. They dont just automatic return it until you request it.

Is there any consequences if I request to return? Don't need the passport as it will expire in 8 months but just asking!

No consequences as long as you never use it and never apply to renew it.
