Hi everybody.

So after 4 months I finally get my proof of citizenship through and now I have to apply for my Canadian passport. I was looking through the application and it says that if I already own a passport I must surrender it before being issued my Canadian passport.
1. Does this mean I will no longer have a British passport.
2. Will there be a page In my new Canadian passport that explains my dual nationality (for ease of entry back into England)
3. How long will the process take as I am going to France in June.

Any answers/advice is appreciated thank you.

No, you don't have to surrender your British passport. They mean any previous Canadian passport. No, your passport does not identify you as a dual national. As far as Canada is concerned, you are Canadian only (unless you are convicted of terrorism--but the Liberals have pledged to get rid of that law). Enter Canada on your Canadian passport, enter the UK on your UK passport.

1. That question relates to your previous Canadian passports, not all passports that you have.
2. No such info there.
3. The website says 10 business days but you should get it within a week. There are options to get it quicker if you pay extra for expediting.

Also thank you. You've both been very helpful.
