My mom was scheduled to go home last May 2020 but due to COVID, we applied to extend her stay (approved as of 11/17, expires on 02/09/2021).
She is in her senior years with asthma and also taking maintenance medicines for high blood pressure. We are afraid to send her home just yet due to increasing number of cases in the Philippines (especially our hometown).
The situation is, her Visitor Visa (TRV) expired on May 2020 and given that her extension was approved only up to February 9, 2021 -- should we apply for a new TRV or apply for another extension? If we apply for a new TRV, what are the chances of her getting approved? Does anyone know any similar case?
