Is dis ok?? Or is it compulsory dat one shud deposit full year fee??

Most of the ppl that i know of, whose visa got rejected under spp, paid another semester fee and took loan as well. This was to satisfy VO about financial support and family ties with sop. By the way, what i personally observed is that the rate of visa acceptance and rejection was almost equal in both applicants having paid 1 sem and 2 sem fees under spp. I havent yet made any such observation in general category so far though. If ur reason of rejection was financial based, obviously it makes sense paying for another sem or taking loan to cover it plus expenses.

No it is not compulsory to pay one year fee
as per generic category checklist pre-payment of first term is strongly recommended
i.e you need to pay only for one term/sem

There is not written anywhere that you have to deposit a whole year fee. You just have deposit the first semester fee if you want to deposit the whole year that all up to you

As far as I know if university asks you to deposit one sem or full year fee only then you should deposit.As per university checklist it is strongly recommended that you should deposit fees in advance but it is not mandatory..moreover most of the universities dont ask applicant to deposit fees...

Yeah, my university didn't ask me to deposit anything yet, so I applied for the study permit without paying any tuition fees. That's just because neither me or my parents had a big enough credit limit on our credit cards. All I showed them as proof of funds was an online bank printout of the account standing (in English) and the four previous bank statements (in Finnish - couldn't get these in English) for one of my parents' savings accounts, that currently had $80,000 USD in it. And a letter from my parents where they promise to fully fund my studies and living. We'll see if this is enough to get me the study permit...

There is no rule by the university/college to pay fee in advance from your home country but just to satisfy the visa officer and to make our case more stronger we used to pay fee in advance from our home country. Paying fee of 1st semester in advance in good enough. If you can, I am if it is feasible for you then pay for the 2nd semester also just to make your case stronger but if not then also no problem in that. Fee paying of only 1st semester in also fine.

Actually we can't judge what visa officer going to perceive from our application. there are many applicants who got visa even without paying advance fee and also there are many applicants whose visa rejected even they paid advance fee... So nothing is predictable or we cant say that I have paid the fee in advance now my visa in guarantee...... So it is fine if you have paid the fee. If feasible, you can pay of 2nd semester as well but paying of just 1st semester is also fine. I hope I am making myself clear
