Hi,

I'm a student who lives in canada for more than two years now on a student visa. I qualify to apply for immigration after finishing my masters degree which will be in march 2010. my questions is if i can apply online now and when they get back to me i will qualify by that time or i cant? because i heard that it takes almost six months..

Thank you,

you can't apply until you complete the degree note it says graduate, plus you know that you require 1 year of skilled work as well after graduation?

Thanks PMM,

But isn't this for the Canadian Experience class? What I qualify for with the degree is the skilled worker class. So, do i still need to wait?

Thanks again

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You can not apply before you qualify to apply. For example, you can not claim a degree or work experience that you don't have yet. That would be misrepresentation.

To apply as a skilled worker, you do need to have at least a one year continuous skilled work experience in the past and you need at least 67 points on the self assessment and you need to fit one of the 3 categories. After 12 months in Canada as a student, you can qualify under category 3.
