Hi all,
I landed today at a land border crossing. The process was very smooth. The only concern was that the officer did not want to apply for my PR card despite me having a Canadian address and making it explicitly clear that it is my address.
1) The officer said I could simply apply online. What's the process?
I found the link below but I does not seem to link with my documents.
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=coanotify
2) I am from a visa-exempt country. I asked the officer and she said I don't need a PR card to fly into the country.
My understanding was that I need either a PRTD or a PR card. Or passport and COPR if driving through the border.
@legalfalcon, could you please help me understand if there are different regulations for citizens of visa-exempt countries?
Thank you all!
