Applying for Express Entry. Can I extend my work permit before I get picked?

hallo everyone need help please.my question is ?my work permit is going to expiredthis comming january and my employer have already apply lmia but we dont have any idea when that lmia will approve.then i plan before my work permit expired to apply for extend of work permit.do im still qualified to apply for express entry even my status is just only the extensyon of work permit.any poseble answer please..

Depends on what kind of work permit you have, if we are taking about "Post Graduate Work Permit(PGWP)" then that can't be extended.
You should create an Express Entry profile anyways and see if you qualify for PR without LMIA, if you don't then there is no way to extend PGWP, you can only apply for Bridge Open Work Permit after you have applied for PR through express entry or other streams.

hI ...I have an open work permit ...I received valid permanent job offer and positive lmia from a new employer....I still have my work permit till march 2016 so i filed or express entry on 16th november and received an ITA ....my work permit is open so its not named on the new employer...can i still proceed with my pr application and file for extension in january

Hi everyone. I have post-graduate work permit which gonna expire in March 1st week. Currently, I am residing in Ontario province. And, I applied for Prince Edward Island express entry. There are chances of getting invitation in the next draw. I knew that BOWP can be applied for ITA under Federal Express entry after application submission. Here my question is, can I apply for Bridge Open Work Permit if I get invitation under PEI PNP? Thank you.
