Applying for Ei while you apply for new lmia and work permit?

I applied for extension for the work permit after my lmia expired now i need to apply for new lmia since my old one got expired. but i lost
almost every shift i've been getting cerb but now i need to Ei to make a living. i've seen some postings about losing your lmia when you apply for Ei, is this true?

another question. i was working at a bar as a food service supervisor and because of covid we were not able to operate for quite long time and now we were able to open again later but we got restricted hours and half capacity of what we could have so it affected my working hours too. there's no way i can work full time but someone told me that i have to work full time in order to get lmia. is this true? will it work if i sent a explanation letter with the application? and does getting cerb will affect negatively on applying for lmia? i need some clarification please someone answer me. thank you.
