Hello ,
I am new on this forum and i have been reading a lot on here for the pass few days and i have learn a lot but i still have a few questions that i couldn't find the answers to in some of the old threads. So i would really appreciate if anyone who is going through the process now or who went through it and was successful could please answer these questions .

1-Does my wife has to file the application for the CSQ ?( I will be the principal applicant)
2-Will she need to qualify on her own ? ( She only has high school diploma)
3-She has no work experience, will that be an issue ? ( She has been a stay at home mom for the past 12 years)
4-She speaks both french and english will that help for some points ?
5-What are my chances to have my interview waived base on past experience from others in here ? ( I speak french and english very well ,i am under 35 ,i have a college degree ,family and friends in Quebec, more than 10 years work experience ,and have the funds needed to settle )
6-Do we really get points for each kids ?
7-Will my wife have an interview?( She won't be the principal applicant)
8-My wife is out of status in the US ,will i have to file the CSQ from her home country ?( I am a green card holder in the US)
9-I heard that as the principal applicant i am the one required to show my residence status ,is it true ?
10-If i have to file the CSQ from my wife home country for her ,can it be done while she's here in the states?( I heard some people have done it not sure )
11- Will an arrest from years ago with non conviction be an issue ? ( Not convicted )

1-Does my wife has to file the application for the CSQ ?( I will be the principal applicant)
yes, she will also have to fill in the forms to be selected as the accompanying spouse.
2-Will she need to qualify on her own ? ( She only has high school diploma)
no, since you are applying as couple, then you will have a higher cutoff score.
3-She has no work experience, will that be an issue ? ( She has been a stay at home mom for the past 12 years)
no problem as long as you gain enough points over the cutoff levels
4-She speaks both french and english will that help for some points ?
good advantage. definitely helps get points.
5-What are my chances to have my interview waived base on past experience from others in here ? ( I speak french and english very well ,i am under 35 ,i have a college degree ,family and friends in Quebec, more than 10 years work experience ,and have the funds needed to settle )
difficult to comment. depends of a lot of factors.
6-Do we really get points for each kids ?
yes.
7-Will my wife have an interview?( She won't be the principal applicant)
dont think so.
8-My wife is out of status in the US ,will i have to file the CSQ from her home country ?( I am a green card holder in the US)
the application has to be filed with the BIQ office which handles apps from that particular country. if you have been a resident of the US for more than 1 yr, then i think its Montreal BIQ which you have to apply to. same applies for your wife
9-I heard that as the principal applicant i am the one required to show my residence status ,is it true ?
not sure.
10-If i have to file the CSQ from my wife home country for her ,can it be done while she's here in the states?( I heard some people have done it not sure )
not sure
11- Will an arrest from years ago with non conviction be an issue ? ( Not convicted )
Not sure
your & ur wife's proficiency of french + relatives in quebec etc will help you get more points well over the cutoffs. its a good case. hope you have some lang proficiency test scores for french.

all the best.
