Applying for citizeship alone without wife and Kids

Hi All,

I moved to Canada in 2016 and become a permanent resident in late 2017. I will be eligible for the Citizenship by 2020. My wife and kids became PR in 2018 and currently due to some family issues are not in Canada and will not be eligible for Citizenship by 2020, when I will be eligible.

My question is that, Can I apply citizenship for myself only? And how does it will impact the citizenship process for my kids and wife?

This forum has always supported me from 2016, keep on the good work guys. Thank you all in advance for the response.

No issue. Just apply as single applicant (but tell them you're married in the application form). The officer might ask you why your wife is not applying in the interview. Just tell them what you said in your post.
