Applying for Citizenship while sponsoring spouse

Hello,

I have been in the country since 2006 and got my PR in 2012 April. I have just applied to sponsor my wife (last week) and how hoping to apply for my citizenship.

I was wondering if I can do so with my sponsorship for my spouse or do I need to wait till she her PR?

I did the same thing. I sent in the application to sponsor my wife in January 2013. Then in April 2013 I applied for citizenship. There were no issues. My wife got her COPR in August 2013, landed in October 2013, and I became a Citizen in December 2013.
